1st March

When others are finding the way of faith hard
and the path of obedience painful
we will offer then love and understanding;
where there is a need,
where there is anguish and where there is emptiness
we will live for Christ.
Amen

2nd March

Where there is brokenness and unanswered questions
we will walk ever closer to Christ,
that we may become channels of hope and thanksgiving
We commit ourselves to carry our cross
and the follow Christ we will live for Christ.
Amen

3rd March

Lord, we have heard your voice calling us to obedience, trust and service.
But you do not call us as a tyrant, but as our Father in heaven
We gladly commit ourselves to serve you all our days.
Amen

4th March

We will worship you with the whole of our lives
and to trust you to accept us now and finally in the kingdom of heaven.
We pray, fill us with your Holy Spirit,
for you are the guarantee of eternal life.
Amen

5th March

Lord, you have brought us to this moment in our lives.
We look back and give thanks for all you have done for us
and for being with us no matter what
We look forward to all we must face in the future
in the knowledge of your promise to be with us always

Today we commit ourselves to be open to you
and to be channels of your grace to all we meet
Lord, loosen our tongues and open our hearts
and by the power of your Holy Spirit
enable us to be a faithful witness for Christ.

Lord, we known that you have never promised that life
would be easy and trouble free.
We commit ourselves to trust you and to walk with you
for you have promised to walk with us to the end and beyond
for we know that you love us

Lord, you call us to be loving and challenge us to care
and you enable us to share your grace
We commit ourselves to be open to you in all things
By your Holy Spirit, give us the power and the will
to demonstrate the love of Christ in all we say and do

Lord, we place our trust in your grace,
we rely on your mercy and we find hope in your love
We commit ourselves, to live, act and speak
that others may turn and give you thanks and praise

Fill us with your spirit,that we may walk with you all our days
and at the end rest in your presence and give you all the glory,

Lord,you have loved us with a love that frightens us

Father, we have heard the good news of Christ.
We have received him as Saviour and Lord

and to live for his glory and name his name

Lord, we are your people not because we are worthy
or because we desire it but by your grace alone.
We are you people and we commit ourselves to offer you words and deeds that will give you glory and lead others to Christ

Lord,we offer you everything we have and are,
knowing full well that it was all a gift from you
No matter who or what we are, use us in your service
keep us safe in the face of temptation
and by your Spirit call and enable us to stand firm with Christ

Father, when we come to you,
it is like walking out of darkness into the light.
There are so many things,
so many experiences,
that damage and spoil our lives each day.
Father, by your Holy Spirit

There are so many things that prevent us
being the kind of people you meant us to be.
It would be so easy to come
simply to be held in your healing, re-creating love.

Father, we come to confess
that you are the one who can make us whole.
We come to you because we have nowhere else
an no one else to come to
Father, we praise you
for inviting us to come

Father, we do not come to prove our own worth to you,
or to be accepted because of our good deeds,
or the greatness of our faith.
We come simply as we are
We come trusting in your mercy
We come in the name of Christ
to worship you for your glory, power and love

Lord, we think we are so wise,
but your greatness is beyond our comprehension
We think we are good,
but your holiness is beyond our reach.
We come to worship you
to acknowledge that you are and always will be
beyond anything our finite minds can comprehend
Fill us with your Spirit, accept our praise
and glorify your name
Amen.

Lord, we come to worship you.
We come to gather up all that we have said and done
and bring it as part of our offering of thanks and praise.
We come to seek your truth, to praise your glory
and allow the light of your love
to drive the darkness out if our lives
Amen.

27th March

Eternal beauty, who came in Christ and is present by your Spirit,
we praise you for the love that birthed creation
and thank you that we can never exhaust the goodness of your gifts.
Enable us to hear your call and to respond to your prompting,
that our hands may be the hands of your Son, Jesus Christ,
and our lives become a perfect offering through your blessed Spirit.
May we flourish with your creation
as we work with your grace for the good of all you have made.

Dear Lord our Shepherd, when we were in green pastures
we confess we sometimes forgot your presence
because we could see the next blade of grass.
But you led us gently and we delighted at the sound of your voice.
Now, we are in a dark valley and it would be very sheep-like to be
scared and scattered.
But we will fear no evil because you are with us.
Direct us with your rod and rescue us with your staff.
You give us strength and courage.
Calm us as we depend on you.
And may our ears strain for every whisper,
and our hearts thrill at every call of your love.
And may your goodness and mercy follow us as a rear-guard,
now and for evermore.

The thought of my affliction and my homelessness is wormwood and gall!
My soul continually thinks of it and is bowed down within me.
But this I call to mind,and therefore I have hope:
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases,
his mercies never come to an end;
they are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness .
‘The Lord is my portion,’  says my soul,
‘therefore I will hope in him.’

Blessed are you, Lord God of our salvation,
to you be praise and glory for ever.
As a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief your only Son was lifted up that he might draw the whole world to himself.
May we walk this day in the way of the cross and always be ready to share its weight, declaring your love for all the world.
Blessed be God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Blessed be God for ever.

May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace.
All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort.
He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others.
When they are troubled,
we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us.
