The Soup Bowl is a joint venture between Tingley Methodist Church and members of the community. We provide companionship, food and good conversation. It is open to everyone and will be held on the second Monday of each month. For more information see the link above

1:30pm – 3:30pm:
The Circuit Prayer Quilt Ministry (not Bank Holidays)
The mission of Prayer Quilt Ministry is to pray for those facing difficult situations such as illness or bereavement, and give them a tangible reminder of God’s love and our prayers. Lap size quilts can be made on request, and on completion placed in Church during the Sunday morning worship. See our page for photographs of our creations

Wednesday

2pm – 4pm:
Line Dancing – Our Class has been going 17 years and most of the present dancers have been coming all that time. Walter is our leader and Anne our organiser We are a happy, sociable bunch who just love line dancing. We meet in the Church Hall and have time out for refreshments. Some of our ladies don’t find it easy to dance anymore so they sit and have a chat while listening to the music. So if you want to join us in whatever capacity, you will be made very welcome. It does help if you have some knowledge of line dancing as we are mostly intermediary dancers.

1pm – 2:30pm (1st in the month, except August):
The Friends Café is part of our commitment to being a Dementia Friendly Church. It provides an opportunity for anyone, including people with Dementia and their carers, to have lunch, to relax and meet and talk to others.

The café is run by volunteers from the Church. For more information click HERE

Sunday

10:30am:
Join us in our worship every Sunday morning Junior Church – we start in church and leave after the second hymn to learn all about the bible in our own special way
